There are two sections for describing hardware components: the "HardwareProperties" and the "HardwareSettings" section. While the HardwareProperties describe the fixed properties of the hardware that can not be changed, the HardwareSettings section describes the actual, adjustable, parameters of the hardware that may change with each recording or dataset.
